BIOGRAPHY
Tony Magre
Lawyer
Tony is an experienced real estate and construction lawyer. His practice focuses on a full range of real property transactions, including buying, selling, developing, financing, and leasing residential, multi-family, office, retail and industrial properties. He also advises on construction law and a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including joint venture, partnership and shareholder arrangements.
Tony has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in Canada for his work in Real Estate Law (2023–2026) and Commercial Leasing (2026). He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Peter A. Allard School of Law (University of British Columbia), where he teaches a course on real estate transactions.
Before founding Westgrove Law, Tony worked at a top national business law firm where he advised a range of clients on some of the largest and most complex real property transactions in the Canadian market. He has written extensively on real estate matters, including publications for the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia and the Professional Legal Training Course.
Prior to university, Tony worked for seven years as a drywaller and painter on residential and commercial projects in Victoria and the Western Communities. This hands-on experience gives him practical insight into the construction industry and the business realities that drive development, shaping his practical approach to advising clients.

Kaitlyn is a real estate lawyer whose practice focuses on a broad range of real property transactions. She advises purchasers, vendors and developers on the acquisition, disposition, development, financing and leasing of residential, multi-family, office, retail and industrial properties.
Prior to joining Westgrove Law, Kaitlyn practiced at a leading national business law firm, where she advised clients on a variety of real estate transactions across Canada, including large-scale acquisitions and dispositions, development projects, and transactions involving infrastructure and energy-related assets.

Ursula Silva
Legal Assistant
Ursula brings over a decade of legal expertise to her role as a legal assistant at Westgrove Law. She supports the Firm's work in real property, construction, corporate, and commercial matters with a strong foundation in legal practice and administration.
Before relocating to Victoria, Ursula practiced for ten years as a real estate lawyer in Lima, Peru. Her background also includes specialized education and experience in environmental and natural resources law. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, Ursula contributes to the Firm's multilingual client service capabilities.
